The Trailfitters Trail Challenge

Trailfitters Trail Challenge (TFTC)

9 Years of Encouraging Adventure, One Trail at a Time

Since its start, the Trailfitters Trail Challenge has inspired thousands of people to explore Duluth and beyond. Each year, we highlight a selection of local trails to encourage outdoor discovery, community connection, and a deeper appreciation for the Northland’s natural beauty. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just starting out, the challenge is a chance to set goals, explore new places, and celebrate the outdoors together.

Committed to strengthening Duluth’s outdoor community.

Each summer, Trailfitters selects a list of trails to explore through June and July. Hike at your own pace, share your journey on social media with our current year hashtag, and join a growing community of outdoor enthusiasts. Along the way, participants have the chance to win prizes, discover hidden gems, and connect with others who love the trail as much as you do.
