THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR… IS BACK!

June 1st-July 14th, 2024

Located in and around Duluth and the Arrowhead Region

The Trailfitters Trail Challenge is back for year 7! Test your hiking abilities while taking in the sights! The Trail Challenge is a hiking challenge consisting of 9 trails totaling 36.4 miles broken down into 3 categories: Easy, Moderate, and Difficult.

The fun has begun! The trails are posted below, so you have from now until July 14th at 4pm to complete all 9 trails and then come visit us in store!

Similar to years past, to prove that you completed the trails, participants will need to submit their photos taken at our specific photo locations (shown on each map). We would LOVE it if you would post these on Instagram or Facebook by tagging @trailfitters and using the hashtag #TFTC24. If you do not have a social media account or if you would rather not post, please bring in your photos (on your phone or printed) to show us upon completion!

Once you finish the challenge, head on over to the store! Upon arrival, please be prepared with either your posts or photos to show an employee so we can get you checked off as a finisher, and receive your prizes!

All participants who complete the challenge will receive:

A TFTC ’24 Patch, Trailfitters gift card, TFTC ’24 Nalgene, & a prize from one of our brand sponsors!

PLUS, the finishers from each week will be entered in a WEEKLY DRAWING (Yes, we will have 6 of them!) for an awesome prize pack!

Prizes will also be given out to the following “category winners”:

1.) First Finisher  |  The first finisher to come into the store after completing all 9 hikes.

You only get one completion submission and it is separate from your Trail Challenge completion. (must track hikes on app that includes time to verify. Only time on foot will be included, driving time not counted. All tracking must be done on approved app including: Alltrails, Gaia GPS, Strava, Garmin inReach Tracking)

** With the change from Knife River Trail to Brewer Loop Trail (due to the maintenance closure of Knife River) We have decided the FKT winner will be based on the total time it took the finisher to complete the 8 trails not including Brewer or Knife River (you must still complete Brewer Loop to become a finisher, it just won’t be counted for FKT).
