Sawmill Dome

Distance – 3.3 mile out ‘n’ back
Elevation – 464ft
Location Details – 1hr 16min drive from Trailfitters
Park at the Cty. Rd. 6 Trailhead. From here you will need to walk along the road to the West until you find the entrance to the SHT heading southbound from that location. Quickly you will encounter some steep terrain which will lead to stunning views of the Section 13 cliffs and the iconic Sawtooth shaped hills to the North East. From there you will head through an elevated grove of hardwood trees leading to your destination at the lookout on Sawmill Dome. Don’t get fooled by Picnic Rock while this is a great spot for lunch, your final destination is still a bit further. Enjoy this classic throwback from TFTC ’18!
